JUST FOR TODAY…

Just for today know that you are enough just as you are.

STOP…

*wishing you could change the way you look, your character/personality traits, or your choices to fit the mold of others. You are perfect just as you are!

*wishing you had someone else’s life. Be careful what you wish for, you have no idea what their ‘real’ life is like.

*trying to gain the approval of people whose opinions really do not matter. Only your opinion matters!

*picking away at your minor imperfections that make you who you are…UNIQUE.

*being ungrateful for all your body does for you to get you through the day. It does not take a perfect body to hug another human and make them feel that they matter.

*living in the past of what if and if only. Life is not lived in the past, only in the present moment. Make your present moments count.

*believing you are not worthy of the life you dream of. EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE HAPPY.

*focusing on what you do not have and start focusing on what you do have. Count your blessings, you have many.

*being angry for what you feel you should have and start taking responsibility for your choices that can and will get you what you want. Happiness is a choice.

*letting your negative thoughts run your life, they will get you nowhere. Your thoughts create your life, choose happy, positive thoughts.

*believing that everyone else has it all together, they do not.

*thinking you must have a spotless house and perfect children. That is not a home and children are not perfect.

*believing you have nothing to offer the world. You are here for a reason, or why else would you be here.

*thinking you must be the perfect friend, sibling, child, person, partner. No one is perfect, NO ONE.

*fretting about meals not made from scratch, that do not include all the food groups, or are not hot out of the oven. Any meal served with love, eaten together, and filled with laughter is not only nourishing for the body but good for the soul.

*saying you do not have time for yourself. Start putting ‘you time at’ the top of your to-do list because your health and happiness matter to you and to those who love you.

*worrying about what others think of you, they are not thinking of you, they are worrying about themselves.

*feeling unloved by people who do not matter. Look around you, there are so many people who love you and need you in their lives.

*thinking you have failed yet again. Life is full of second chances that are there for the taking. Get back up and try again. You are human, and human’s make mistakes. Learn, grow, and move on.

START…

*choosing to be authentic, real, beautiful, healthy, fearless, hilarious, adventurous, courageous, wild, grateful, worthy, tenacious, strong, optimistic, deserving, or grumpy and tired, if that is how you’re feeling today because you are you and that makes you someone very special and loved by many, YES YOU…

YOU ARE AMAZING. YOU ARE ENOUGH. YOU ARE LOVED.

YOU are the REAL DEAL and THAT MAKES YOU MORE PRECIOUS THAN YOU KNOW.
